Dr da Assunção and his family moved back to Australia after 9 years of public and private practice in the South of England to re-unite his little kids with their Aussie family. He was subsequently awarded FRACS (Orth) and established Revolution Orthopaedics, a practice intended to provide a modern, holistic, tailored surgical service to patients with musculoskeletal problems or trauma. He has a special interest in joint replacement and knee preservation surgery and is a firm believer that shared decision making and evidence- based surgery lead to good results and happy patients.
