Meet Dr Kent Lin

Dr Kent Lin is committed to providing holistic and evidence-based care to women encompassing all stages of life, from pregnancy to addressing gynaecological concerns.

Following his graduation from medical school at the University of New South Wales, Dr Lin completed his internship and residency at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He then went onto complete his Master of Medicine in Reproductive Health Sciences and Human Genetics at the University of Sydney.
His specialist training commenced in Melbourne where he had the privilege of working at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Australia’s first and largest specialist women’s hospital. This involved excellent opportunities in managing complex obstetric patients, along with extensive birth suite experience. In addition, through this experience, he was exposed to a very diverse patient population, with the hospital providing care to women from 189 countries. This invaluable experience has given Dr Lin a strong appreciation for providing culturally appropriate care.
With a profound interest in gynaecology, Dr Lin also excels in providing minimally invasive surgical options, specialising in Advanced Laparoscopy (keyhole surgery). He has undertaken two fellowship programs in laparoscopic surgery including world class units such as:
Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery in Sydney, a leading unit which has trained many eminent gynaecologists from all over the world.
Advanced endoscopic gynaecological oncology centre at China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan, one of a few units around the world to participate in the novel program of uterine transplantation.
As a highly collaborative and patient-centred specialist, Dr. Lin ensures his patients are well-informed, empowering them to make educated decisions about their fertility journey. Dr Lin is proud to offer seamless care across the full fertility spectrum, including all aspects of single and LGBTI+ fertility treatment, from donor cycles (eggs, sperm, and embryos) to partner IVF.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Lin’s enthusiasm extends to educating medical students and junior doctors, actively engaging in educational activities. His special interest in research is evident through his frequent presentations at conferences, both within Australia and on the international stage.
