IMPORTANT UPDATE - UPCOMING PRACTICE RELOCATION TO MYHEALTH FOXWELL
To our valued patients, please be advised that Myhealth Coomera will be relocating and merging with our Myhealth Foxwell Road clinic. This decision has been made due to the upcoming demolition of the existing building. with the last day of trading at this location to be Tuesday 21 May 2024. The doctors and the team at Myhealth Coomera will be relocating to Myhealth Foxwell Road (Just a few minutes drive away) & bookings can be made online HERE.
As we have made every effort to stay open at the same location, this will not be possible during the demolition phase due to multiple factors including noise, access and safety for our patients, staff and doctors. Due to the disruption during the demolition and building phases, we will continue delivering quality care to our beloved community at our Myhealth Foxwell Road (Coomera) location, located at 334 Foxwell Road, Coomera QLD.
We look forward to continuing to provide quality care with our team at the new location from Thursday 23 May 2024. If you have an existing appointment in place, this will continue to remain in place, but will be at the new location. If you have any questions, please speak with our team members for assistance. You can easily book online at Myhealth Foxwell Road.
We understand that for some patients, they may not be able to travel to this location, we are happy to accommodate telehealth where possible, however if you would like your medical records to be sent to your new treating GP at a different location, please sign a "medical record request form" at your new practice & the new practice can email this request to: coomera@myhealth.net.au so that your new treating GP can continue your care.

DID NOT ATTEND (“DNA”) POLICY
EFFECTIVE: 15th August 2023
What is a “DNA” – A DNA occurs when a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice of cancellation.
Why does Myhealth Coomera need a DNA policy?
1. Our doctors are often fully booked at the commencement of any day
2. Many people need to see their doctor urgently
3. Many people ask to be put on a waiting list in case an appointment becomes available earlier than their scheduled appointment

Dr Richard Ayling is Retiring
Dr Richard Ayling has now retired from medicine. Dr Cristina Penanueva will be looking after Dr Aylings patients and any pending results.
If you wish to see another doctor elsewhere, please ask your new general practice to send us a “Transfer of Medical Records Request” so we can send your medical records to your new GP.
Dr. Hassan Abdelkawy will now be providing care for the patients previously under the care of Dr. Ayling.

APPOINTMENTS & WAITING TIMES
Consultation is by appointment. Patients must make an appointment to see a doctor. If you have more than one health concern or a complex issue to discuss, please request a longer appointment at the time of booking. Same day appointments are available for urgent cases. A separate appointment must be made for each family member. Appointments can be made in person or over the phone (Walk-in appointments available). Please let our receptionist know if you require prompt attention to matters such as chest pain, burns, eye injury etc.
Nobody likes to be kept waiting. Our staff understand this and endeavour to manage all appointments as punctually as possible. However, due to the unpredictable nature of a medical practice – doctors do frequently run behind time. We regret any inconvenience caused due to these delays. Please feel free to contact our surgery staff to confirm whether your doctor is running on time BEFORE you arrive for your appointment. For continuity of care it is recommended to see your usual doctor, however, if they are unavailable you are welcome to see one of the other doctors in the practice.
