Myhealth Helensvale is a Mixed billing Medical Centre conveniently located at the popular Westfield Shopping Centre in Helensvale.

Our practice is located on the outside of the shopping centre, directly opposite Zaraffas Coffee. We are open to the public seven days a week.

There is Pathology and Allied Health on site including Psychology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and a Dietician. Our Doctors and Registered nurse welcome everyone for their general practice needs.

    Senior Lecturer at Griffith University

    Dr Amin Gharaie is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. At present, he is working as the clinical lead and consultant psychiatrist for headspace Youth Early Psychosis Program (hYEPP) since early 2018.

    Dr Gharaie has nearly twenty years of clinical experience in the field of medicine, including fellowship training in General Practice, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

    Beginning his specialty training in 2011 at the Gold Coast Hospital, Dr Gharaie gained considerable experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of mental health conditions affecting young people including Mood Disorders (Depression, Bipolar Affective Disorder), Anxiety disorders, OCD, Psychosis, PTSD, Trauma and ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders.

    Dr Gharaie has undertaken additional training in Attachment-Based Family Therapy and Systemic Family Therapy and he is a registered educator of the Circle of Security Parenting Program.

    Dr Gharaie speaks both English and Farsi (Persian). Having worked in the Gold Coast region as a GP, psychiatric registrar and currently a psychiatrist, Dr Gharaie has extensive local knowledge and is familiar with both private and public health systems, as well as having links with numerous health professionals in the area.
