Anjali is a GP Registrar having completed her MBBS from India in 2007. She then completed her Diploma in Anaesthesiology following which she worked for over 7 years as an Intensivist/Consultant Anaesthetist in various public and private hospitals.

Having moved to Australia in 2017, she cleared her AMC exams at first attempt and worked across different departments at Peninsula Health and Monash Health. She worked extensively at Emergency Department and in General Medicine and its specialities (viz: Respiratory Medicine, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation), General Surgery, Urology, Paediatrics & Paediatric Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, Hospital in the Home etc). Herein she developed her liking for General Practice and decided to take the plunge.

Anjali was awarded the ‘Doctor of the Year’ at Monash Health in 2021. She was subsequently renominated for the award again in 2022.

Anjali is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi and Konkani.

When she is not at work, she loves to spend time with family, travelling and cooking esp. Indian cuisine.
