Dr Suresh is an enthusiastic and motivated GP with a strong focus on patient centred care. He is an excellent communicator and thrives on building long term Doctor-Patient relationships.

He is an accomplished doctor with more than 10 years of postgraduate experience having worked and trained in Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and Australia.

He worked in the UK as a Medical Registrar at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle developing experience in the management of complex medical presentations.

Subsequently he worked extensively in rural Queensland, Mount Isa and gained experience in Emergency medicine, Orthopaedics and General Surgery after which he completed his General Practice training and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

With valuable international experience having worked in three countries and different job roles Dr.Suresh is well rounded and experienced GP.

He is confident in the management of complex medical and surgical presentations and enjoyed the challenges faced working as a rural GP for 2 years in Aboriginal Health clinics serving the Kalkadoon community.

He has a keen interest in academia and enjoys teaching medical students and junior doctors.
