Dr Melissa Cahill (nee: Telford) has been a GP in the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre since 1999, and a practice owner / principle doctor since 2001. She graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from University of Queensland in 1994 and attained her RACGP Fellowship in 2000.

She is a committed and caring doctor for her patients; an exceptional mentor and supervisor for our registrars and medical students and an inspiring leader to her staff.

Her philosophy is to treat people as individuals with care for their feelings and well-being. She achieves this whilst also practicing good medicine, imparting knowledge and teaching skills, running a business and raising a family.

Dr Melissa has a special interest in providing circumcision as well as tongue tie and lip tie releases for babies up to 5 months of age; procedures she has been performing since 1999. Being a mother of four herself (two of them boys), helps her understand the concerns that mothers and fathers have in regards to their child and her ambition is to make the experience of these procedures as comfortable as possible for all of the family.
