Graduated as a doctor In 1998 and has had more than 20 years of experience in the field of general medicine. She began her career in Anaesthetics in Sri Lanka and came to Australia in 2008 where she gained extensive experience in the complex care of critically ill patients working for 6 years at Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals as a senior registrar in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care. This invaluable experience has given her the skill set required to manage confidently both acute and chronic complex medical presentations to a very high standard.
She subsequently specialised in General Practice and received her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.
She has special interests in Paediatrics and has attained a Diploma in Child Health from Westmead Children’s Hospital.
She is highly proficient in all aspects of General Practice and has in-depth knowledge base and experience in managing Women’s health, Mental health, Work Cover presentations and Drug and Alcohol Management.
She continues to work in Addiction medicine both in the general practice and in the hospital settings.
She is proficient at performing skin and minor surgical procedures.
She is a mother with a young child and enjoys family life.
She has a friendly, compassionate and holistic approach to managing general practice presentations and thoroughly enjoys her work.
