About Myhealth Sydney CBD
Welcome to Myhealth Sydney CBD Medical Centre.
We are conveniently located next to David Jones, the Westfield Shopping precinct and a short walk from St James train station. Our purpose built centre is fully equipped, offering comprehensive medical care to our community. We pride ourselves in offering a friendly and professional service.
We offer a full range of health services including Pathology, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, and Psychology.
CHILDHOOD IMMUNISATIONS – PHONE BOOKINGS ONLY
For all childhood immunisations, please call for appointments. We do not accept online bookings for childhood vaccinations, and are available only during designated hours. We thank you for your understanding.

Pricing/Fees
We are a Mixed Billing practice. A Gap (out of pocket) Fee applies to GP consultations including phone consults.
$40 Gap Fee applies for standard GP appointments.
From 1 November 2023, Bulk-billing (No Gap Fee) is available only for eligible Centrelink pension card holders and Children under 16 with Medicare if registered with our practice on MyMedicare. This applies for standard GP consultations only and excludes Cervical screening, Skin check, and Procedures.
GP STANDARD CONSULTATION FEES
• $40 Gap Fee applies for standard GP appointments including phone consults.
OTHER GP CONSULTATION TYPES
• Skin Check (Comprehensive): $60 Gap Fee applies. Additional Gap Fees apply for procedures including biopsy and excision.
• Long Consultations and Walk-ins without appointments also incur additional Gap Fees.
• Procedures: Additional Gap Fees apply for all procedures including ECG, Ear syringing, Implanon insertions/removals, and Skin biopsy/excision. Please call for bookings.
OSHC AND OVHC POLICY HOLDERS
• OSHC: $20 Gap Fee applies for eligible OSHC holders
• OVHC: $40 Gap Fee applies for eligible OVHC holders
Additional Gap Fees apply for other consultation types including Cervical screening (Pap smear), Skin check, and Procedures.
*For OSHC and OVHC policy holders, you may be required to pay the full consultation fee upfront depending on the eligibility of your insurance policy. Please see our reception for details.
PRIVATE GP CONSULTATIONS (Non-Medicare)
For patients without Medicare nor an eligible OSHC/OVHC policy, private GP consultation starts from $85.
PROCEDURES
Additional Gap Fees apply for all procedures including ECG, Ear syringing, Implanon insertions/removals, and Skin biopsy/excision.

We do not accept online bookings for procedures. Please call us for bookings so we can allocate the appropriate Doctor and time for your procedure.
Cancellation Policy
$40 Cancellation Fee applies if you do not cancel or reschedule at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled GP appointment. We thank you for your kind understanding.

Online Bookings Available at Myhealth Street Castlereagh Medical Centre
We provide appointments, including online bookings for your added convenience, as well as a walk-in service. Please note that our cancellation policy stipulates fees will be incurred after two missed GP appointments. We also offer an after-hours service which is accessible through the Medinet app, available for download through your app store.
Our practice's services range from GP medical services, general health services covering diabetes, asthma, geriatric medicine, heart health, mental health and more as well as nursing care and pathology to name a few. As well as having access to a Pitt Street GP, patients can also access allied health services such as physiotherapy and psychological services. However, if there's anything you'd like further information on or if you would like some advice, get in touch during our opening hours. We are more than happy to assist.
You Can Register with a Pitt Street GP Now
We are currently accepting registrations for new patients. Before you attend your first appointment with one of the Pitt Street doctors at the clinic, you will need to register with us. Simply fill out the Online Patient Registration Form and we will be in touch as soon as possible. You can then easily book an appointment with a GP in CBD or one of the allied health specialists at our medical centre, just click on the online booking link or contact us during clinic hours via telephone. Once registered, you can also download the MyPractice app which will enable you to access your medical information on your mobile device securely. It's a simple way to keep track of your medical history in a paperless format and you can view referrals, prescriptions, medical certificates and more in one place. We also have appointments available appointments at Darlinghurst Medical Centre.
