    Meet Sarah Shing

    Senior Physiotherapist (APAM) and Exercise Physiologist (ESSAM, AEP, AES) Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree, majoring in health and exercise science from the University of New South Wales and then with a Masters of Physiotherapy from University of Sydney.

    She is a member of both the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and the Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

    As Sarah has been a rhythmic gymnast for many years who has competed at the national level, as well as a ballet dancer, she has a passion for sports related and musculoskeletal injuries.

    She also enjoys working with a variety of people in the community and being able to educate them about their condition with the goal to return the patient back to what they love to do.

    As well as being a physiotherapist, she is also an accredited exercise physiologist and a level 1 rhythmic gymnastics coach.

    Sarah has attended several courses including: Dry needling technique. Sports related injuries treatment and taping techniques, Clinical Pilates instructor.

    Plaster casting Muscle energy techniques for lumbo-pelvic region, Biomechanical analysis and orthotic prescription, Headache and migraine management with the Dean Watson Institute, Muscle energy techniques for rib, cervical and thoracic cage dysfunctions,

    K taping Assessing dancers with foot and ankle problems, Gluteal tendinopathy Exercise prescription for neck pain, Clinical yoga instructor Lyn Watson, Shoulder assessment and treatment.

    In the near future she will be attending several other courses relating to the mulligan’s concept.
