Dr Patricia Suarez-Novoa is a Medical Doctor from the National University of Colombia who completed Specialist General Practice Vocational Training in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom (2008) and holds Membership with the Irish College of General Practice (MICGP). She is also a Member of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine (MACTM) and has a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPHTM) from James Cook University in Queensland.
Patricia has been involved in the provision of Family Medicine as a General Practitioner for nearly 20 years. She has worked in countries such as Colombia, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Australia. She has also undertaken administrative roles as a Medical Director and has owned her own private practices. She has recently moved from practicing at North Parramatta and has a happy and faithful patient following.
Her main career interests are general medicine, preventive health, and chronic disease management, medicine for the elderly and paediatrics. She is a native Spanish speaker and is happy to be able to use this ability to provide medical services where there is also a need for Spanish speaking GPs.
She is a strong promoter of an ethical and conscientious holistic medical practice that supports human dignity and the respect for life. She is married and has 4 children.
