Dr Michelle Ng
Special interests: Women’s Health (including antenatal care), Child Health, Mental Health, Chronic Health Conditions (eg: Asthma, Heart Disease, Diabetes), Obesity and Weight loss management.
Dr Michelle originally trained and worked as a Doctor in England before moving to Australia in 2010 and becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has recently moved to Brisbane following a 3 year position as the solo Town GP for a community in Central Queensland.
Dr Michelle has always known she wanted to become a GP and feels that the relationship between a patient and their GP is incredibly important for their long-term physical and mental wellbeing.
She believes in the traditional Family Doctor and enjoys getting to know her patients and dealing with all their health concerns- from minor illness, to lifestyle advice (eg: quitting smoking or losing weight), to detecting and treating serious conditions.
She really strives to understand each individual, ensuring they receive the best care possible and takes the time to explain things thoroughly to her patients.
She enjoys dealing with all aspects of General Practice and has a particular interest in:
- Women’s Health (including antenatal care)

- Mental Health
- Chronic Health Conditions (eg: Asthma, Heart Disease, Diabetes)
- Obesity and Weight loss management
Dr Michelle is passionate about her work and is excited to be commencing at North Lakes, where she hopes she will be able to build long term, positive relationships with her patients.
