Dr Grace Rong Xiu Ling
Special interests: Preventative health (Paediatrics), Surgery procedures, Mental health especially Depression
Dr Grace Rong Xiu Ling graduated from medicine (MBBS/BMedSci) at The University of Melbourne in 2011. In 2012, she commenced her internship and subsequent residency at Monash Health, where she gained her solid clinical foundation working in areas of Emergency Medicine, Adult Surgery, Adult General Medicine throughout Victoria.
In 2014, she then underwent Paediatrics training at the tertiary Children’s Hospital at Westmead, which included 2 years of Paediatric Medicine training including working as a Paediatric Registrar, and a further 1 year in Paediatric Surgery. This has allowed her in-depth knowledge in Child Health especially in General Paediatrics, Paediatric Oncology and Paediatric Cardiology. Because of her special interest in Child Health, she went on further to obtain her Diploma of Child Health in 2014.
She has also completed a Postgraduate Advanced Surgical Training Course in 2016, along with multiple other surgical courses. She has an interest in procedures including skin lesion excisions, suturing, having spent over a year in the operating theatres.
Grace is a kind and conscientious doctor who goes the extra mile to care for her patients. She has served overseas on volunteer medical trips which is a passion of hers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and church friends.
