Dr Geetha Geddam
Special interests: Women’s health, Paediatrics, Skin cancer diagnosis and management, Chronic disease, Contraceptive management and cosmetic medicine.
Dr Geetha Geddam joined Medical School in 1996 and completed her undergraduate studies in 2001. After completing her studies, she obtained further training in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Derriford Hospital Plymouth in the UK between 2003 and 2007 and gained hands on experience in all aspects of Woman’s Health.
From 2007-2009, she completed General Practice training with Peninsula Deanery Plymouth, covering Psychiatry, Elderly Medicine and General Practice. She also completed further training in contraception devices insertions and removal as well as Sexual Health.
She moved to Australia in 2010 and has since then completed training in Skin Cancer diagnosis and management and completed Certificate courses in Dermoscopy and Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.
She holds a diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, graduated from SCCA in 2016 and now an accredited female skin cancer doctor.
Her current interests are woman’s health, paediatrics, skin cancer diagnosis and management, chronic disease, contraceptive management and cosmetic medicine.
